Hello Creative Arts Therapies Supporter,
In 2016 art therapist licenses became law in New Jersey and in 2020 dance/movement, drama and music therapist licenses became law in New Jersey. Also in 2020 the State Board of Creative Arts and Activities Therapies became the new board designated to issue all of these licenses.
Appointments to the board must be made before any licenses can be issued. Governor Murphy has nominated therapists from the creative arts for appointment to this board; but we need Senator Joseph Pennacchio to complete what is known as Senatorial Courtesy or a sign-off on candidates in his district/counties before the confirmation process can begin with Senate Judiciary Committee hearings.

We ask that you submit this request for Senator Joseph Pennacchio to Complete Senatorial Courtesy by personalizing the beginning after “As a ______” using descriptors (up to 50 characters) such as: 

  1. Constituent

  2. Art, dance/movement; drama or music therapist

  3. Art, dance/movement, drama or music therapy student

  4. Colleague of an art, dance/movement, drama or music therapist

  5. Concerned citizen, or

  6. Family member of a person who receives art, dance/movement, drama or music therapy services.

Include as many as apply or another that is a better fit for you and then click submit. Your name and information that you have already entered will be automatically included.
